Setting up and monitoring experimental plots in forests – Collecting data and samples – Cartographic/GIS support – Tree climber – Drone pilot

Engineer Assistant in Forestry Research

I have been passionate about forestry since I was very young. I hold a BTSA in Forest Management and a professional bachelor’s degree in cartography, which give me a well-rounded background in both field forestry and GIS support. My role as an assistant engineer involves frequent fieldwork (collecting samples, recording data from sensors in experimental plots, etc.), but also includes office time dedicated to analyzing and interpreting all this data.

I am also trained as a tree climber/arborist to collect inaccessible samples using a pruning ladder. I hold a drone pilot license, which allows me to fly over the canopy using drones equipped with sensors (thermal camera, multispectral camera, etc.).
